Preservation. Protection. Diligence.

About Us

Reeves Law, P.C. represents families, individuals, and business owners in the preservation, protection, management, and transfer of wealth. The firm's core work involves wills, trusts and estate planning, probate and estate administration, tax planning, small business planning, and charitable and tax-exempt organizations planning, family law and general litigation services. Many of the firm's clients face exposure to the onerous federal estate, gift, and generation skipping transfer taxes and seek the firm's counsel on minimizing or altogether eliminating this exposure. To meet our clients' objectives in this respect, we make recommendations and advise our clients on estate planning opportunities based on a comprehensive review of a client's assets and personal circumstances. Finally, our work generally involves the implementation of an overall "estate plan" to meet the objectives of each of our clients.

While much of our work is tax motivated, there are many other important considerations we make in planning for the preservation, management, and transfer of wealth. We go beyond the minimization or elimination of taxes to ensure that the business and estate plans we implement are flexible and adaptable, and not only meet the needs and goals of our clients, but also meet unforeseen changes in the law and family circumstances.

Because our firm works in the most intimate areas of our clients' lives, the role of the firm remains close to that of the "family lawyer" in the traditional sense. We believe wholeheartedly in what we do, and we understand that meeting the needs and goals of our clients in a timely and cost effective manner is paramount to their satisfaction and our ongoing commitment to continue building a successful practice. We believe, then, that our success directly hinges on the satisfaction of our clients.

All of this is what drives and inspires us in the work we do for our clients. Although we enjoy working with the increasingly complex and ever changing laws in our practice areas, we get our fulfillment from working with individuals and families and putting in place plans that meet their present goals and adapt to meet unforeseen changes in circumstance. We are not content with only providing high quality legal services. Our goal is to constantly strive to build a more successful practice by focusing on and responding to the needs of our clients.
